Mission Statement

Pursuing God...Loving Others...Living Real

Our mission is to pursue meaningful relationship with God, as we apply His word and enter into His presence in worship, expressing itself in love for others through reaching the lost, at home and abroad, and transforming people into passionate followers of Christ by equipping them for the work of the ministry, helping them discover their God-given destiny, developing their unique talents, passions, skills, and spiritual gifts, and connecting them to this family and to live lives marked by authenticity, transparency, vulnerability, and fullness in the Holy Spirit demonstrated through freedom and empowerment.

Vision

We desire to disciple ordinary people and enable them to become extraordinary followers of Christ.

Who We Are

Vineyard El Paso is a 'come as you are' church where people can come no matter where they are in life and be transformed by the presence of God. We don't claim to have it all together and don't expect anyone else to either. Here at Vineyard El Paso we desire to live out our lives in complete submission to our Heavenly Father and to walk in the greatest gift, which is love. We seek to actively participate in what the Holy Spirit is doing in our lives our hearts and the Church universal. We seek to demystify the Word of God and draw young and old to a full understanding of its practicality and usefulness yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Our utmost desire is to teach the whole counsel of God through the Word. That is why here at Vineyard you will not find fluff but rather a balance of presentation. We embrace both the topical and expository methods of teaching the Word and we bring them together in perfect harmony. You will find the Word presented in an intelligible way, rightly dividing the Truth, while adhering to history and context. A typical service at Vineyard consists of about 30 minutes of praise and worship followed by announcements and a teaching from God's word. When you arrive at the church, parking is located in front of the building and is first come first serve. As you walk in the door, you will most likely be greeted by an usher and be given a bulletin for that service. Our services start on Sundays at 9AM, 11AM. Children's Church is available for children age 3 through 6th grade during both services. Nursery is available for babies under the age of 3. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee at our new Coffee Center on your way in and don't forget to stop by the Vineyard Bookstore for sermon CDs, music, T-shirts, and more. Newcomers are invited to "Meet the Pastor" each month at the Alvarez home for Pizza and fellowship. You will probably notice the relaxed atmosphere at the Vineyard as most people come to church dressed comfortably. We hope that you will enjoy your visit to Vineyard El Paso and can't wait to meet you.
